To review the provision of free on-street parking spaces in central areas, including permit (e.g. residential), disabled parking and loading bays to reduce commuter and long-stay shopper parking in inappropriate locations, for example in residential areas surrounding the central areas (inner suburban) to enhance the central shopping areas by reducing inappropriate on-street parking, for example in pedestrianised areas to make parking regulations easier to understand and to raise compliance.
