The main objectives of this measure will be:
To collect good quality data on which management and control of the network can be based, and which can be shared with other systems and organisations
To communicate the data to the relevant transport management systems.

| The Measure |
The main activity will concern the development of existing and the introduction of new systems to monitor, in real time, road network and journey conditions, using existing urban traffic control system, automatic traffic count sites, automatic number plate recognition system, new congestion data etc. Consolidate available traffic data for the development of management and central strategies under WP 12.6.
